I haven't been very good about keeping up with friends through their blogs or in giving insight as to how I am.  Why is this?

Things are going well.  Olivia has two teeth coming in now.  She has turned into such a chatter box.  It just makes us smile as she carries on...telling us stories that although we do not know their content, they keep us captivated and spellbound with only to ask, "what else, what else?"

I am doing a dinner theatre through church.  It feels good to do somthing for a change. I hope it goes well but I have my doubts.  I wish I had involved myself earlier...I think the director does as well...we have a dress rehearsal tonight...the performances aren't until the 15th and 16th....so there is time for this thing to turn around...and I know it can...I just have my doubts...

So my mom told Micha'l that mom and dad would love for me to do something when we go to see them over the New Year's Holiday.  So, I need to find something to do.  Do any of you have a good seasonal piece?  Any suggestions or short monologues you have would be appreciated.

I'll upload some pictures of Olivia today or tomorrow.

I love that age when kids don't really know any words, but they just have these earnest things to tell you. Sometimes I wish I could get a glimpse into their mind because it's obvious they are thinking something and it's very important and they are communicating it, or trying to. It isn't really their fault we only understand grown-up language. :) I would love to understand.

I can't really think of any holiday pieces off the top of my head. Maybe I've got something in the ol' speech file.

Journey of the Magi by T.S. Eliot is kind of good.

I am drawing a blank right now, but I would suggest the one about the Magi by O. Henry  and A Child's Christmas in Wales, I am not sure of the author, but it may be Dylan Thomas.

How about the script from A Christmas Story?  All of it.  That would be cool.  Of course they could also just watch the movie which plays for like three days straight over the holidays, so maybe that's not such a hot idea...
