| I haven't been very good about keeping up with friends through their blogs or in giving insight as to how I am. Why is this?
Things are going well. Olivia has two teeth coming in now. She has turned into such a chatter box. It just makes us smile as she carries on...telling us stories that although we do not know their content, they keep us captivated and spellbound with only to ask, "what else, what else?"
I am doing a dinner theatre through church. It feels good to do somthing for a change. I hope it goes well but I have my doubts. I wish I had involved myself earlier...I think the director does as well...we have a dress rehearsal tonight...the performances aren't until the 15th and 16th....so there is time for this thing to turn around...and I know it can...I just have my doubts...
So my mom told Micha'l that mom and dad would love for me to do something when we go to see them over the New Year's Holiday. So, I need to find something to do. Do any of you have a good seasonal piece? Any suggestions or short monologues you have would be appreciated.
I'll upload some pictures of Olivia today or tomorrow.

| As I was listening to Fox & Friends on the way into work I was sipping down my usual thermos mugs worth of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. As I sipped I listened to a Dr. discuss the benefits of tea (which I do like and drink a lot of). Suddenly my cup of joe tasted more like a cup of orange peel tea with a hint of chamomile. Crazy, yeah...I thought so. As I zipped down Woodward my coffee seemed to disappear in what felt like a mili-second and I found myself hitting up the drive thru at MacDonalds and topping off my mug with some of their "premium" swill.
So how many cups do you have in a day? Which do you prefer- tea or coffee?
On to the next subject. Liv had her first round of shots on Monday...she has turned into a cranky little beast. I guess she could swim in this altered personality state for a few days...all I know is that Micha'l and I are both hoping it passes...soon. Micha'l goes back to work part time today...so dad gets to pick Liv up at grandma's after work and has to attempt to keep her happy until mom gets home after 8pm tonight. I really hope she likes a little Sam Adams in the bottle and Red Wings hockey...it is opening night...and she shouldn't dislike Sam Adams.
Here's a pic from last Saturday night at the Wings vs. Maple Leafs

As I eluded in yesterday's rare post...I was able to head out to Yosemite National Park at the end of September. A good friend I made at Liberty University lives in the Lansing area with his wfe and daughter....we try to get together and run trail races, hunt, backpack and generally try to get into as much trouble as possible with each other. YNP was amazing. Being an east coast boy who was born and raised in the White Mountains of NH, I was blown away with the scale of heights, granite, and scenery we took in. The backpacking was tough....gaining over 2,000 feet with 35 lbs. on your back...now having been in the flats of SE Michigan now for six years...the blood oxygen content, lack of breath and temperature changes were enough to throw you for a loop...and it did...but what we saw, experienced and brought back with us was worth every short, laboring breath.....every achey muscle...every hour of sleep missed in order to cram as much in as we could...

These are just a few...powerless pictures...the whole set is on ringo.com. I am waiting for Jeff to get me the pictures off his camera...and to burn the video footage we took as part of a video diary...it was so cool...

| Liv is now 8 weeks old. It's hard to believe...Micha'l and Liv are both doing great...Micha'l actually starts back at work part time tomorrow. It should be fun...coordinating who picks up the baby when and where...Nothing challenging really. We have a few friends or family members who have volunteered their services in watching Liv when Micha'l is working...we are so happy for that. Otherwise, it would be pointless for Micha'l to retur to work since all she would be really working for would be for child care.
So this picture is a few weeks old...but it has to be one of my most favorite yet...

Here is a shot of opening day at the Big House last month in Ann Arbor. The Blue and Maze beat up on Vanderbilt in good old Wolverine fashion...

Stay tuned for my post and pictures of Yosemite. I was able to go out to Cali a few weeks back and get some High Sierra backpacking in...it was truly amazing...

| Instead of talking about...lack of sleep...the beginning stages of life...blah blah blah blah...I decided to throw a picture of Liv in my blog and let you fill the blanks.
